Thanks to volunteers
Volunteers are an instrumental part of our organization. I am very grateful to our volunteers who have helped make events, programs, and the Rockport Senior Center run smoothly and efficiently. Winston Churchill once said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
I would like to thank the following people for helping improve the lives of the Rockport seniors by volunteering their time this past year at our Senior Center: Lydia Souza, Peg Shea, Lilia Orozco, Pat Olson, Mark Coulburn, Kay Mattson, Arthur Pothier, Kathy Tettoni, Faith Ronan, Judy Tocco, Marge Jurewicz, Betty Hurst, Jean Brandt, Jill Solomon, Bob Wech, Jim Wallius, Thoma Robertson, Kathy Hurlburt, Sandy Jamieson, Mary Ann Camp, Joyce Davis, John Trott, Ed Conway, Janice Johnson, Mary Brosnan, Mary Gundy, Ron Alpert, Leonard Goodman, Judy Bogage, Karolina Latronica, Linda Ames, Bob Beattie, Joan Locke, Joe Zumani, Chelsea MacDowell, Freda Collins, Michelle Talisman, Faye Anderson, Roger Lesch, Gilbert McCarthy, Joan Wood, Tina Ketchopulos, Christine Marek, Don Sudbay, and Cathy Swensen.
Thank you for your many hours of service. Your help is very much appreciated.
Director, Rockport Senior Center
Thanks to sponsors
Thank you all so much for helping me raise $1,465 to benefit The Open Door. We are helping The Open Door to combat hunger in our community. I can’t put into words the gratitude that I feel each year for your support. I just finished the walk, and it was a bright, beautiful day for it. I love the Pride Stride event!
I would also like to thank the many wonderful volunteers on the Pride Stride Committee for helping to make this a fun day for all the people involved. Those hamburgers and hot dogs were great! Smiles were everywhere.
I look forward to your continued support next year. New sponsors are always welcome. Your kindness and generosity motivates me, and I think about all of you while I complete the walk.
