Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 6,100 pounds of fish and 400 pounds of scallops Thursday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Large monkfish, head on: 1,700 pounds ($1.68)

Large monktail: 700 pounds ($4.57)

Large hake: 700 pounds ($1.33)

Sea scallop: 400 pounds ($12.54)

Medium pollock: 300 pounds (90 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 29,400 pounds of fish and 14,200 pounds of scallops Wednesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 13,600 pounds of fish and 400 pounds of scallops Wednesday.

No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
