Rockport people in the news

Kasey L. Walkinshaw, a recent Rockport resident who now lives in Reading, graduated from the University of Rhode Island in May. She received a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies with a minor in sociology.

These students have been named to the 2013 spring semester dean’s list at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H.: Alexandra Bouchard and Briana Traynor, both highest honors; and Cecely Nutting, honors.

Colby Balestraci has received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, R.I.

Mayer Andersen has received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bard College in Annandale Hudson, N.Y.

Amanda Chalmers and Haley Lorden have been named to the 2013 spring semester dean’s list at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I.

Jessica Morrow has graduated, summa cum laude, from Boston University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management. She was also named to the school’s 2013 spring semester dean’s list.

Jonathan Bell has been named to the 2013 spring semester dean’s list at Boston University in Boston.

Stephanie Dixon has earned a Bachelor of Science in veterinary science from Becker College in Worcester.

Andrew Burnham has been named to the 2013 spring semester dean’s list at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Conn.

Hannah Brunelle has been named to the 2013 spring semester dean’s list at William Smith College in Geneva, N.Y.

These students have received bachelor’s degrees from Berklee College of Music in Boston: Jacob Pardee (music business/management) and Barclay Moffitt (performance and professional music).
