An electronics recycling drive to benefit the Annisquam Village Hall Association will take place Saturday, July 13, 9 a.m. to noon, at the Annisquam Village Hall, Leonard Street, rain or shine. Most items with a battery or plug will be collected for a $1 per pound fee. Fees are payable by cash, check, MasterCard or VISA. Seniors and teachers, as well as those recycling 100 or more pounds, receive a 15 percent discount. No fees for cell phones. No hazardous materials accepted. Music & Meditation
The Gloucester Unitarian Universalist Church, corner of Middle and Church streets, presents an encore performance of Dr. Michael Bresnan and the Dorymates as part of a series called “Music & Meditation in the Meetinghouse” on Sunday, July 28, at 7:30 p.m A social gathering and refreshments will follow. Open to the public with a free-will offering.
