Gloucester resident Candice B. Ellis, graduated cum laude, with a BSBA from Nichols College. U.S. Sen. Scott P. Brown was Commencemant Speaker at the graduation ceremony, held on Saturday, May 8, on the Dudley campus.

Holy Family hosting Strawberry festival

The Holy Family Guild is having a Strawberry Festival, plant sale, and "General Store" on June 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Home-made preserves, fresh-baked pies, cookies and goodies, strawberry shortcake, and much more will be available for sale.

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange
The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 69,100 pounds of fish Thursday.
Top species landed and average prices were:
Medium and small pollock: 20,200 pounds (75 cents)
Scrod haddock: 18,500 pounds ($2.54)
