Thank You Notes

Family of Betty Lafata

My family and I will never be able to express our appreciation for the kindness and caring support that we received from family, many friends and the Gloucester community at large.

Our heartfelt thanks to all the people who offered their care, concern and prayers during this difficult time.

A personal thank you to Kelly Cluett and the staff at Greely’s funeral home for all your help from beginning to end. You held our hand and walked us through our loss gracefully.

Thank you to Woodman’s of Essex for taking care of the small details and giving us a beautiful reception.

To Leonardo’s (Taormina/Canillas family), The Farm Bar & Grille, The Village restaurant, the RiverSide Bistro, and The Blue Marlin Grille for their generous donations for Betty’s memorial service.

To Father Bruce Flannagin from St. Richard’s Parish in Danvers for his blessings and kind words.

To all who donated to The Open Door food pantry in our mother’s name.

Our hearts are filled with much love because of all of you.

Betty’s smiling face will be sadly missed by the many lives she touched, but the memories we have will remain in our hearts forever.

With love,

Peter Lafata, Mick Lafata, Katrina Haskell and Rob Lafata

Seacoast Seven

The Friends of Seacoast Annual Seacoast Seven Road Race was a huge success. Runners from all of the state ran the 7K race throughout the beautiful scenic trail in Gloucester.

We are grateful to Patrick Thorpe, president of Bank Gloucester, our generous race sponsor for their continued support of this annual race which is one of our major fund raisers.

Lahey Health, Addison Gilbert Hospital, Rockport Mortgage, and Good Morning Gloucester for sponsoring the T-shirts given to the runners and volunteers.
