Teen girls book group kicks off, 6 p.m., TOH Burnham Library. Seventh- to 10th-graders reading "Heist Society":by Ali Carter, a fast-paced, masterful novel of intrigue and suspense.

Manchester Essex Regional School District School Committee FY13 budget hearing, 7:30 p.m., Manchester Essex Regional Middle and High School auditorium.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

Yankee Networkers breakfast, 7 to 8:30 a.m., Farm Bar & Grill, 233 Western Ave. This chapter of BNI, a business referral organization, meets Wednesdays, same place and time. Visitors welcome.
