The Holy Family Women’s Guild has had a very successful Christmas fair this year. We could not have done it without the help of our parishioners and the people of Gloucester. We would especially like to thank all the businesses that contributed to the success. AGH reunion

The recent reunion for present and past employees of Addison Gilbert Hospital, held Nov. 10 at the Gloucester House, was a huge success. One hundred and eighteen employees attended, renewing friendships and reminiscing. Laughter, hugs and happy tears were the order of the day.

The committee would like to thank the following businesses for their generous donations to our raffle: Shaw’s Market, Stop & Shop, Last Stop Variety, Berny Gershner, The Lannon, Sea Breeze Liquors, Tina Ketchopolus, 7 Seas Whale Watch, Tony Gross, and the Lewis’ from Nova Scotia, who came the farthest, and brought prints of Dr. Babson, which were auctioned off.

Also, Monograms by Diane who created AGH caps and bags, at cost; and Premier Imprints who created AGH magnets, at cost.

A very special thanks to Dr. Candy Thompson, who donated, for auction, a week in her condo in Florida, and the Gloucester House, Dottie and Lennie, who always go the extra mile for us and do a wonderful job. Lennie was our “auctioneer extraordinaire.”
