Cape Ann TV’s annual Santa party, 3 to 7 p.m., 38 Blackburn Center, Gloucester. Children invited to meet Santa Claus. Meetings with Santa will be videotaped and shown on CATV’s Channel 12 on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Free and open to the public. Wednesday, Dec. 5

Council on Aging shopping trip to Walmart Plaza in Seabrook, N.H. Van pick-up at 11 a.m., return by 2:30 p.m. 978-526-7500.

Saturday, Dec. 8

Fourth annual Holiday Fair with Gifts that Care, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Manchester Community Center. Toys, jewelry, paper products, purses, artwork, house wares and collectibles. Items either made from recycled products, benefit charity or are fair trade goods. All proceeds benefit Beverly Bootstraps, Wellspring and Cape Ann Animal Aid.

Sunday, Dec. 9

Manchester Singers holiday concert, 4 p.m., St. John’s Church, 552 Cabot St., Beverly. $8 for adults, $5 for seniors/students. 978-283-9021.

Tuesday, Dec. 12

Council on Aging luncheon, noon, The Landing at Seven Central. Chowder or salad, steak tips, baked scrod or chicken Alfredo, potato, veggies, bread, butter, dessert. $15. Prepaid reservations due by Dec. 7. Transportation available. 978-526-7500.

Friday, Dec. 14

Council on Aging’s monthly trip to Trader Joe’s in Danvers. Van pick-up at 9:30 a.m., returns around noon. Allow one hour or so for shopping at Trader Joe’s or other store in plaza. To register, call 978-526-7500.
