The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 144,600 pounds of fish and 19,000 pounds of scallops Thursday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction reported handled 10,900 pounds of fish Thursday.
No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
