Dividing the Estate
Theatre in the Pines presents “Dividing the Estate.” Directed by Nan Webber, this hilarious Horton Foote comedy classic takes family dysfunction to fun levels as siblings square off over their inheritance. Performances are May 9, 10, 11 at 7:30 and May 12 at 3 p.m. at Spiran Hall located at the corner of School Street and Broadway. Cast members include Scott Hazzard, Kierstin Hazzard, Sarah Clark, Sue Barratt Souza, Rick Doucette, Eileen Fitzgerald, and Mark and Patti Natti, Ruth Exama, Alexa Exama, Patricia Richards and Carl Pulkkinen. Randy Dupps is Stage Manager, Frank Walcott is the technical director and set design and production manager is Martin Ray. Tickets are available at The Bookstore in Gloucester and Toad Hall Bookstore in Rockport.
Old Sloop Coffeehouse
Old Sloop Coffeehouse will present a performance by Garnet Rogers on Saturday, May 4, 7:30 p.m., at First Congregational Church, 12 School St., with Chris Pahud and Seth Connelly opening. Advance tickets are $16; visit www.oldsloopcoffeehouse.org, Gloucester Music, or Toad Hall Bookstore. Tickets, at the door, are $18 for adults, $10 for those 65 and older, $5 for those younger than 18, $24 per family. Bring nonperishable food items to be donated to The Open Door Food Pantry. Donors will receive a free drink.
