Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 45,700 pounds of fish Thursday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Ocean perch: 16,800 pounds (51 cents)

Medium pollock: 15,400 pounds (69 cents)

Scrod haddock: 3,900 pounds ($1.92)

Medium and small pollock: 3,500 pounds (65 cents)

Large pollock: 1,900 pounds (94 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 123,400 pounds of fish and scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 4,200 pounds of fish Thursday.

No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
