The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 39,500 pounds of fish Monday.
Top species landed and average prices were:
Ocean perch: 18,900 pounds (47 cents)
Medium and small pollock: 5,100 pounds (93 cents)
Large pollock: 5,000 pounds ($1.54)
Large hake: 2,100 pounds ($2.03)
Small dabs: 1,100 pounds ($1.30)
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 79,000 pounds of fish and 104,100 pounds of scallops Tuesday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 3,300 pounds of fish Monday.
No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
