Trail Work Day, 8:30 a.m. Meet at Cedar Swamp parking area on School Street. Bring clippers, loppers and other tools you may have.

Sunday, Oct. 28

Halloween graveyard tour, 2 to 4 p.m., Old Burial Ground, Main Street. Presented by Essex Historical Society and Shipbuilding Museum. Tours run approximately 60 minutes, every half hour.
