Garden Club meeting
The Rockport Garden Club will meet Monday, Nov. 5, at the Rockport Community House, 58 Broadway. A social hour begins at noon. Mary Huntoon will present “Festive Flowers” at 1:15 p.m.
Oasis Rockport will hold the first Toys For Tots Photos with Santa Toy Drive on Sunday, Dec. 2, noon to 5 p.m., at the Rockport Community House, 58 Broadway. ‘Overcoming Anger’ program
A program titled “Overcoming Anger” will be held Friday, Nov. 2, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the Vajramudra Center, 154 Granite St. “Friday Nights at the Center” are informal evening programs held twice a month about the Buddhist perspective on selected life topics, led by Phil Salzman and/or Jesse Fallon. The Open Door Food Pantry needs help to provide holiday meal baskets to local families. A donation of $25 provides a turkey, potatoes, butternut squash, apples, stuffing, cranberry and more.
