Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 15,500 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Large hake: 2,200 pounds ($2.77)

Medium pollock: 1,500 pounds ($1.02)

Scrod haddock: 1,300 pounds ($2)

Medium hake: 1,100 pounds ($1.86)

Small dabs: 900 pounds ($1.21)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 95,000 pounds of fish and scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 39,600 pounds of fish Thursday.

No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
