Strength Resistance Exercise Class, 9 to 10 a.m., Rockport Senior Center, $4 per class

Reading the Granite Landscape, 10 to 11 a.m., Halibut Point State Park, Gott Avenue. Natural history of granite tells stories via geology, plant communities, environmental forces and human use. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella,” presented by Rockport High School Drama Llamas, 7 p.m., John Lane Auditorium, 24 Jerden’s Lane. $10 for adults, $8 for students/seniors, $6 for children (10 and under).

“Dividing the Estate,” presented by Theatre in the Pines, 7:30 p.m., Spiran Hall, corner of School Street and Broadway. Directed by Nan Webber, this Horton Foote comedy classic puts a fun spin on dysfunctional family rivalries. Tickets at The Bookstore in Gloucester and Toad Hall in Rockport.

Pigeon Cove Circle’s Mother’s Day tea, for children of all ages to celebrate their mothers, grandmothers or special persons, 2 to 4 p.m., Cove Circle Center, 6 Breakwater Ave. Donations accepted.
