Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary:

Small craft advisory in effect this afternoon through Thursday morning.

Today, southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 30 knots in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Chance of showers.

Tonight, south winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest after midnight. Gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 4 to 7 feet. Patchy fog. Showers likely. Visibility 1 nautical mile or less.

Thursday, southwest winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 4 to 7 feet. Patchy fog. Visibility 1 to 3 nautical miles.

Thursday night, west winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.

Friday, northwest winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots becoming south 5 to 10 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Friday night, southwest winds around 10 knots becoming northwest after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Saturday, northeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Saturday night, southeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Sunday, southeast winds 5 to 10 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Sunday night, southeast winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 3 to 4 feet.
