Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 3,100 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Small greysole: 4,000 pounds (99 cents)

Small pollock: 2,200 pounds (60 cents)

Medium pollock: 1,700 pounds (97 cents)

Large hake: 1,500 pounds ($1.59)

Sow hake: 1,100 pounds ($1.66)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 142,200 pounds of fish and 7,900 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 15,100 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
