Annual Martin Luther King Jr. March for Peace, 10 a.m. March begins at Unitarian Universalist Society of Rockport, 4 Cleaves St., Rockport. Interested participants invited to gather at church at 9:30 a.m. to make signs. Short program follows march.

Gloucester Knights of Columbus annual Free Throw Competition, 3 p.m., St. Ann school gym. All boys and girls ages 10-14 welcome to participate. All participants receive a certificate, and winners have the chance to compete at district, regional, state and national levels.

Maritime Gloucester fundraiser screening of “Chasing Ice,” a documentary of one man’s mission using time-lapse cameras to capture ancient ice mountains disappearing at a breathtaking rate, 6 p.m., Cape Ann Community Cinema. $9.75, $8.25 for students/seniors, $6.75 for members.
