Young adult writer Steve Kluger visits Manchester Essex Middle School, author of “My Most Excellent Year,” addresses both school’s English classes and entire middle school, discussing how book evolved from his own life; a Q&A follows. Copies available at library.

COA’s lunch trip to Seaport Grille Gloucester, enjoy Thursday special lobster roll with fries, or choose from a wide variety of local seafood and prime meats while watching the action on working waterfront. Van pick up begins at 11:15 a.m. To register, call 978-526-7500.

Monday, Feb. 11

Low vision support group meets, 1 p.m., at the Plains Community Room. All are welcome for this hour or so of conversation regarding low vision and issues related to vision. Call COA for more information/registration at 978-526-7500. Senior van pick-up available.
