Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary:

Small craft advisory in effect this afternoon through late tonight.

Today, northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 30 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Tonight, northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Light freezing spray likely.

Sunday, northwest winds 20 to 25 knots, diminishing to 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Gusts up to 30 knots. Seas 4 to 7 feet. Light freezing spray likely.

Sunday night, northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots, diminishing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 feet.

Monday, southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas around 2 feet.

Monday night, southwest winds 10 to 15 knots, becoming west 5 to 10 knots after midnight. Seas 1 foot or less. Chance of rain. Snow and freezing rain. Visibility 1 to 3 nautical miles.

Tuesday, west winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 1 foot or less. Chance of showers and freezing rain.

Tuesday night, southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas around 2 feet. Chance of showers.

Wednesday, southwest winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 ft. A chance of showers.

Wednesday night, west winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 5 to 8 feet. Chance of rain and snow showers. Visibility 1 to 3 nautical miles.
