The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 12,500 pounds of fish Thursday and 30,300 pounds of fish Friday.
Top species landed and average prices were:
Large pollock: 11,000 pounds (86 cents)
Medium and small pollock: 6,300 pounds (73 cents)
Ocean perch: 2,000 pounds (74 cents)
Large hake: 1,900 pounds ($2.09)
Sow hake: 1,500 pounds ($2.46)
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 37,700 pounds of fish and reported no scallops were landed Friday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 39,900 pounds of fish Sunday.
No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
