Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary:

Small craft advisory in effect through Thursday morning.

Today, west winds 20 to 25 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet.

Tonight, west winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots. Seas 5 to 8 feet. Chance of light freezing spray.

Thursday, northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Chance of light freezing spray.

Thursday night, north winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 35 knots. Seas 5 to 8 feet.

Friday, north winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 30 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 7 feet.

Friday night, northeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Saturday, east winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas around 2 feet.

Saturday night, east winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Patchy fog. Chance of rain and snow. Visibility 1 to 3 nautical miles.

Sunday, northeast winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Patchy fog. Chance of rain and snow. Visibility 1 to 3 nautical miles.

Sunday night, north winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 4 to 7 feet. Patchy fog. Chance of snow. Visibility 1 to 3 nautical miles.
