Fish landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 7,900 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average price were:

Market cod: 4,500 pounds ($2.65)

Small yellowtail: 1,300 pounds (86 cents)

Scaler cod: 700 pounds ($2.44)

Large cod: 400 pounds ($4.65)

Scrod cod: 400 pounds ($2.22)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 76,800 pounds of fish Tuesday.

The Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford handled 77,800 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 12,700 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
