Cape Ann Seafood Exchange
The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 52,900 pounds of fish Thursday, 5,200 pounds Friday, and 57,900 pounds Monday.
Top species landed Monday and average prices were: Small and medium pollock: 30,200 pounds (69 cents) Ocean perch: 7,700 pounds (58 cents) Market cod: 4,800 pounds ($2.13) Large hake: 4,200 pounds ($1.67) Large pollock: 2,400 pounds ($1.01)
Other landings
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 49,500 pounds of fish and 74,400 pounds of scallops Thursday and 16,600 pounds of fish and 2,100 pounds of scallops Friday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 45,300 pounds of fish Sunday.
No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
