St. Peter's Fiesta schedule

TODAY

4:45 p.m.: Greasy Pole Walk and Women's Seine Boat Races, Pavilion Beach.

6:30 p.m.: Entertainment in St. Peter's Square prior to opening ceremony.

7:30 p.m.: Formal opening ceremonies; St. Peter's statue will be led to the Fiesta altar in a candlelight procession.

After ceremonies: Seabreeze , musical entertainment.

TOMORROW

9:30 a.m.: Youth and adult soccer games, Newell Stadium, Gloucester High School.

10 a.m.: Governmental Seine Boat Race: U.S. Coast Guard, Gloucester Fire Department and Gloucester Police, Pavilion Beach.

2:30 p.m.: Championship Series: Youth Basketball Tournaments, at Fort Playground. (Rain date Sunday).

3 p.m.: Children's Games, at Beach Court.

4:45 p.m.: Seine Boat Races, Saturday Greasy Pole Walk, Pavilion Beach.

6 p.m. to midnight: Odissea Orchestra with vocalist Natalie Pinto, musical entertainment, St. Peter's Square.

SUNDAY

10 a.m.: Mass of St. Peter, St. Peter's Square

Noon: Religious Procession of St. Peter, following the Celebration of the Mass.

3 p.m.: Blessing of the Fleet, Stacy Boulevard; concert by U.S. Navy Band Northeast, St. Peter's Square.

4:45 p.m.: Seine Boat Races and Sunday Greasy Pole Walk, Pavilion Beach.

6 p.m.: St. Alfio's Band performs, St. Peter's Square.

6:30 p.m.: Children's Pinata Contest at Pascucci Court.

7:30 p.m.: Awards ceremony for winners of sporting events.

8:30 p.m.: Natalie Pinto, musical entertainment, St. Peter's Square.

10 p.m.: St. Peter's Fiesta fireworks.

11 p.m.: Raffle drawing and St. Peter's Fiesta closing procession.
