4:45 p.m.: Greasy Pole Walk and Women's Seine Boat Races, Pavilion Beach.
6:30 p.m.: Entertainment in St. Peter's Square prior to opening ceremony.
7:30 p.m.: Formal opening ceremonies; St. Peter's statue will be led to the Fiesta altar in a candlelight procession. - Thursday, June 25, 2009

They each own two Greasy Pole titles. And they're seen as two of the top walkers on the Sunday pole.

But Sandy Pallazolo and Vinny Parisi may be most known for something else; their costumes.
Pallazolo, the 2002 Friday and 2003 Saturday champ, and Parisi, who is the 2005 Friday and 2006 Saturday champ, have taken costumes to the next level for the St. Peter's Fiesta Greasy Pole contests. -

Paul Giacalone's Crew, Kaos and The Best of What's Left won their respective elimination heats and will face off against one another in Saturday's qualifying race.
