Fish landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 28,900 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average price were:

Scrod haddock: 13,700 pounds ($1.92)

Market cod: 5,800 pounds ($3.03)

Scrod cod: 4,100 pounds ($2.43)

Mixed geo blackbacks: 2,000 pounds ($1.71)

Mixed geo yellowtail: 1,700 pounds ($1.53)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 35,000 pounds of fish and 83,600 pounds of scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 40,500 pounds of fish Wednesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
