Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange reported no landings Wednesday but handled 22,500 pounds of fish Monday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Market cod: 10,100 pounds ($2.17)

Scaler cod: 4,400 pounds ($1.53)

Large cod: 1,900 pounds ($3.22)

Blackbacks, 1 to 2 pounds: 1,400 pounds ($1.66)

Large pollock: 700 pounds ($1.44)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 23,800 pounds of fish and 2,700 pounds of scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 40,000 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
