Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 13,500 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Medium and small pollock: 10,000 pounds (99 cents)

Large pollock: 2,600 pounds ($2.13)

Large hake: 400 pounds ($1.29)

Ocean perch: 300 pounds (57 cents)

Market cod: 100 pounds ($3.02)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 89,000 pounds of fish and 143,800 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 9,700 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
