Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 27,000 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Large hake: 4,000 pounds ($1.61)

Ocean perch: 3,600 pounds (41 cents)

Medium pollock: 3,300 pounds (78 cents)

Medium hake: 2,500 pounds ($1.01)

Small dabs: 1,600 pounds (88 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 12,200 pounds of fish Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 7,800 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
