Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange reported no landings Wednesday but handled 83,800 pounds of fish Thursday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Ocean perch: 32,500 pounds (61 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 12,700 pounds ($1.02)

Market cod: 4,500 pounds ($2.53)

Small yellowtail: 3,500 pounds ($1.17)

Large hake: 3,300 pounds ($2.60)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 64,100 pounds of fish and 25,700 pounds of scallops Wednesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction reported no landings Tuesday, but handled 36,400 pounds of fish Wednesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
