Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 17,300 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium and small pollock: 9,500 pounds ($1.17)

Market cod: 2,300 pounds ($2.26)

Large cod: 1,100 pounds ($2.26)

Large pollock: 600 pounds ($3.16)

Small yellowtail: 600 pounds ($1.33)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 61,100 pounds of fish Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 5,500 pounds of fish Wednesday.

No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
