Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange reported no landings Tuesday but handled 42,000 pounds of fish Monday and 16,100 pounds Wednesday.

Top species landed Wednesday and average prices were:

Small dabs: 4,200 pounds (91 cents)

Medium dabs: 2,500 pounds ($1.40)

Large hake: 1,500 pounds ($1.43)

Medium hake: 1,400 pounds ($1.22)

Large dabs: 1,400 pounds ($1.75)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, reported no landings Tuesday, but handled 119,100 pounds of fish Sunday and 109,200 pounds of scallops Monday, 53,900 pounds of fish and 33,100 pounds of scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction reported no landings Tuesday, but handled 45,500 pounds of fish Monday and 64,900 pounds Sunday.

No landings were reported Monday to Wednesay at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
