Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 73,600 pounds of fish Monday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium and small pollock: 36,600 pounds (73 cents)

Large pollock: 4,800 pounds ($1.59)

Large hake: 4,500 pounds ($1.62)

Market cod: 3,800 pounds ($2.61)

Small yellowtail: 3,500 pounds ($1.61)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 79,200 pounds of fish and scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 57,200 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
