Fish landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 23,000 pounds of fish Thursday.

Top species landed and average price were:

Medium pollock: 4,500 pounds (98 cents)

Scrod haddock: 3,800 pounds ($1.67)

Ocean perch: 2,700 pounds (82 cents)

Large sow hake: 2,000 pounds ($2.29)

Skate wings: 1,800 pounds ($2.28)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 30,800 pounds of fish and 90,200 pounds of scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 16,600 pounds of fish Wednesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
