Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 25,500 pounds of fish Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Ocean perch: 12,300 pounds (40 cents)

Medium pollock: 2,800 pounds ($1.17)

Large hake: 1,800 pounds ($1.67)

Snapper haddock: 1,400 pounds ($1.15)

:Medium and small pollock: 1,000 pounds ($1.06)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 68,700 pounds of fish and 96,900 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 9,300 pounds of fish and 200 pounds of scallops Monday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
