Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 36,100 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 11,100 pounds (68 cents)

Large hake: 3,800 pounds ($1.23)

Medium and small pollock: 3,600 pounds (62 cents)

:Small dabs: 2,400 pounds (72 cents)

:Large monktail: 2,200 pounds ($2.22)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 106,900 pounds of fish and 117,000 pounds of scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 9,700 pounds of fish Monday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
