Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 63,300 pounds of fish Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 22,800 pounds (96 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 10,600 pounds (80 cents)

Large pollock: 3,700 pounds ($2.02)

Large monktail: 3,500 pounds ($2.38)

Large hake: 3,200 pounds ($1.50)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 153,500 pounds of fish and scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 44,700 pounds of fish Monday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
