The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 66,500 pounds of fish Monday.
Top species landed and average prices were:
:Medium pollock: 21,00 pounds (70 cents)
Medium and small pollock: 15,000 pounds (61 cents)
Market cod: 4,400 pounds ($3.39)
Small dabs: 3,900 pounds (89 cents)
Mackerel: 2,600 pounds (41 cents)
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 126,400 pounds of fish and scallops Friday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 10,000 pounds of fish Sunday.
No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
