Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 31,400 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 8,300 pounds ($1.40)

Ocean perch: 8,300 pounds (49 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 5,300 pounds ($1.12)

Scrod haddock: 1,800 pounds ($2.19)

Market cod: 1,200 pounds ($2.32)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 54,000 pounds of fish and 73,100 pounds of scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 38,900 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
