King whiting: 1,400 pounds (65 cents)
Large monkfish, head on:1,200 pounds ($1.08)
Large pollock: 1,000 pounds ($1.38)
Market cod: 600 pounds ($3.69)
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 43,000 pounds of fish and 15,700 pounds of scallops Wednesday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 25,900 pounds of fish Wednesday.
No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
