The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 20,300 pounds of fish and 99,300 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Sea scallops 10 to 20 Mid Atlantic: 53,500 pounds ($11)

Sea scallops U12 Mid Atlantic: 30,800 pounds ($13.25)

Sea scallops U10 Mid Atlantic: 14,400 pounds ($13.60)

Large jig cod: 5,700 pounds ($1.80)

Small greysole: 2,800 pounds ($2.16)

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 55,100 pounds of fish and 300 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
