The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 51,400 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Scrod haddock: 10,100 pounds ($1.44)

Medium pollock: 7,500 pounds (85 cents)

Market cod: 4,800 pounds ($2.39)

Large monktail: 4,700 pounds ($3.02)

Small monktail: 3,600 pounds ($2.37)

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 16,500 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
