The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 89,300 pounds of fish and 91,800 pounds of scallops Monday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Scallop 10 to 20 Mid Atlantic: 49,600 pounds ($11.18)

Scallop U12 Mid Atlantic: 30,800 pounds ($12.58)

Large yellowtail: 15,200 pounds ($2.23)

Market cod, jig: 11,800 pounds ($1.89)

Scallop U10 Mid Atlantic: 10,400 pounds ($13.05)

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 16,500 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
