The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 55,500 pounds of fish and 86,100 pounds of scallops Monday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Scallop 10 to 20 Mid Atlantic: 43,400 pounds ($10.88)

Scallop U10 Mid Atlantic: 22,000 pounds ($12.68)

Scrod haddock: 16,900 pounds ($1.87)

Scallop 10 to 20 Closed Area II: 12,900 pounds ($11.58)

Scallop U12 Mid Atlantic: 5,200 pounds ($12.45)

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 10,200 pounds of fish and 400 pounds of scallops Sunday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
