The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 21,500 pounds of fish and 30,300 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Scallop 10 to 20 Mid Atlantic: 21,200 pounds ($11.03)

Scallop U12 dayboat: 7,700 pounds ($12.75)

Market cod: 5,500 pounds ($2.52)

Scrod cod: 5,100 pounds ($1.81)

Mixed blackback: 4,400 pounds ($2.36)

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 10,200 pounds of fish and 400 pounds of scallops Sunday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
