The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 8, 600 pounds of fish Nov. 19, 41,700 pounds last Tuesday, 7,700 pounds Wednesday, 43,900 pounds Friday and 29,900 pounds of fish Monday.

Top species landed Monday and average prices were:

Market cod: 11,200 pounds ($2.20)

Medium and small pollock: 3,800 pounds ($1.37)

Scrod cod: 2,000 pounds ($1.77)

Ocean perch: 1,800 pounds (58 cents)

Scrod haddock: 1,400 pounds ($2.62)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, was closed Thursday for Thanksgiving. BASE handled 78,800 pounds of fish and 73,200 pounds of scallops last Tuesday, 57,400 pounds of fish and 110,100 pounds of scallops Wednesday, and 45,200 pounds of fish and 192,400 pounds of scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction was closed Thursday for Thanksgiving and handled 31,600 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported last Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
