Fish Landings

Cape Ann

Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 27,900 pounds of fish Wednesday .

Top species landed and average prices were:

Market cod: 8,600 pounds ($1.65)

Medium and small pollock: 6,900 pounds ($1.06)

Large pollock: 3,800 pounds ($1.43)

Large cod: 1,700 pounds ($2.37)

Scaler pollock: 1,700 pounds (72 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 84,500 pounds of fish but reported no landings of scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 4,300 pounds of fish Tuesday and 5,900 pounds Monday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
